Manon Circé, PT, B.Sc. PT (Hons)
Her journey into the realm of physiotherapy began at the age of 14 following a severe sport-related ankle injury. She was left fascinated and inspired by her Physiotherapist’s guidance, support, and knowledge that enabled her to return to competition. Following a high school co-op placement in physiotherapy, Manon undoubtedly decided to pursue her post-secondary education in her hometown in this field.
Manon graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2004. Her practicums included Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Neurology, and Intensive Care and she participated in conducting a Women’s Health pilot study. Her career includes working in both Home Care and private practice settings as well as in a rural community outreach role.
Manon thanks her diverse professional and personal experiences for her current interests. These areas of special interest include Pain Science, mental health, and accessibility to paramedical services. Her philosophy as a health care professional is that our body needs movement in order to heal itself and to maintain our sense of wellbeing.
